For those who do not know, the Heisman Memorial Trophy Award is considered the most prestigious college football award. This trophy is awarded annually to the most outstanding player in the college level for that year; the selection is based on a voting point system. It’s all over the web how Shaq disses Kobe through his rap lyrics. One of the most memorable lines: “You know how I be. Last week Kobe couldn’t do without me.” An obvious cheap shot at the NBA’s MVP, Kobe, for not being able to win the championship last week. Haha. Talk about kicking someone while they’re down. As many of you may already know, the program, Hockey Night in Canada, had recently lost it’s rights to it’s famous theme song which most, if not all, Canadians have become accustomed to. Sad to say that this post is in regards to a death. On Saturday, there was a 1oo Mile Relay Race that took place in Kananaskis, a city just 85 kilometres west of Calgary. During the event, a 64 year old runner from Calgary collapsed and died while running his portion of the race for his 10 man relay team. Read the rest of this entry »

The upcoming Olympics has everybody in America buzzing about the USA Gymnastics team. This is to be one of the best teams put together for this competition from this nation. I know that it may sound weird to hear about gymnastics from an extreme spots nut but I have nothing but respect for the guys and gals of gymnastics. Pretty funny news I heard about. Apparently, the Manitoba Lacrosse Association have banned the parents from watching the lacrosse games played by their teenage kids. The reason?
