An Edmonton man is being accused of using his job as a driving instructor to recruit young females for his 2 ‘bawdy house’ massage parlors. The 63 year old man, Vishva Juneja, has had all of his business as well as driving instructor licenses revoked.

“Give me a break. Years ago we had whores and prostitutes. Now we have escorts and sex-trade workers. But the problems seem to be very much the same. If massage parlours are legal, why is it ilegal to hire the massagers. As long as they weren’t forced into it they had a choice. In some towns with a lot of oil workers etc. this sort of thing is rampant, but the police turn a blind eye. I’m tired of wasting our taxes on overcrowded courts by pretending to do something about prostitution. It’s been a problem since the beggining of recorded history. And I can’t see the problem disappearing any time soon. What the Hell is the point of having a law that can’t possibly be enforced. Having said that, their is only two ways to go. Either get serious and crack down on it with vengeance (good luck with that) or forget about it and send the money saved in cop-time and court time to some worthwhile charity. And at $3 a minute, the lawyers will be laughing there way to the bank in a Caddilac.”

“First, this person is recruiting young people who are probably under the legal age. Secondly, It’s interesting that people think that legalizing prostitution will improve things. Improve them for whom? The young women “recruited” into performing sex acts with strangers? The young men and women who forced into whatever means necessary to raise money because of street life, poverty, drug addiction… Why is it OK to sell your body to pay the rent, buy food or deal with an addiction? Why is it OK to buy another person? If the state condones this, then we as a society become pimps. I personally find it hard enough to stomach my taxes being used to fight wars that are supporting the oil industry and American weapons manufacturers. Knowing that my children’s tax credits are coming from young women lying on a bed in a government approved brothel would make me heave. Just because something has existed for a long time doesn’t make it right. Prostitution will decrease when poverty, drug addiction and abuse decrease. Prostitution will decrease when the advertsing world and its corporate clients stop using sex as a commercial tool.
Sex is a wonderful thing between consenting adults. When sex is a commodity then it is no longer a consensual act, it is a paid service and the provider of the service loses power to the purchaser. Legalization will not help this problem. Changing attitudes will.”

“I saw a lot of people suggesting we should legalize prostitution. The premise is that it would help prostitutes.

Where legal prostitution exists, so does massive ILLEGAL prostitution.

The Netherlands, which is known for its prostitution has become a main transit point for SEX SLAVES entering the EU from Eastern Europe.

Las Vegas has also seen as similar thing take place with sex slaves being brought into Nevada from across the Mexican border and either kept in Las Vegas illegally or moved onto other US cities.

Legalizing prostitution makes it far more difficult for law enforcement to distinguish between legitimate and illegitimate prostitution and therefore makes it far more difficult to combat sexual exploitation.

Legalizing prostitution increases exploitation of sex slaves in the same way that gun control increase gun crime.

We all want to help but making the problem worse isn’t the way to do it.”

“In this country of opportunity, why does anyone need to resort to illegal activities such as the accused to earn a living? Seems to me people like him are never satisfied with just one good paycheque that was earned honestly by working for a legitimate employer; they have to let their greed and uncontrollable urges decide what level of crime they are willing to attempt. Someone his age should know better.”
