A spokesman for the Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe says that he will not step down after winning the alleged sham of an election in Zimbabwe. The spokesman even went as far as to say, “They can go hang. They can go and hang a thousand times.”, regarding the critics in the West. What does that comment tell you about the current President? Some reactions from the “West”…

“Quote: “They can go hang. They can go and hang a thousand times.”

Yes, yes we can. And we should. The billions and billions in aid that pour in to the continent of Africa from the west could also ‘go hang’.

We have many of our own people who could benefit greatly from that aid - why should we continually send it across the oceans into the hands of murderers, rapists and all around scumbags?

How often do we read that 60 of the ‘aid’ is stolen by the ruling government/leaders of the moment and sold to those who NEED the aid - just so the ruling party can buy guns and bullets - to continue killing the people they claim to want to help?

Let us all go hang - not only for the good of our own people - but also for the good of those who desperately need a reprive from scum like Mugabe and the relentless carnage he - and many of the murderous African dictator ‘leaders’ create.”

“No Mr. Charamba Mr. Mugabe is not the President of Zimbabwe. Mr. Mugabe is the Dictator of Zimbabwe whose hold on power is secured through systematic rape, tourture and murder.”

“Anyone thinking anything positive will come out of the AU or SADC probably still believes in the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus and Jack Layton’s influence on the world stage. Anybody hoping that the UN is going to do anything substantial, given the amoral attitude of the PRC, will be sadly disappointed. Robert Mugabe will be there until he dies, at which point he will be replaced by one of his clones.

What is especially sad about this is the comparison between the present nauseating state of most of sub-Saharan Africa and the rose-coloured pronouncements and attitudes of most of the western world when vampires like Mugabe were still ‘freedom fighters’. This slide into Hell was predictable and was indeed predicted, however those Cassandra’s who raised their voices at the time were excoriated as racists, apartheid-supporters, nazi’s, etc. Even seeing African leaders as they really are has not diminished the enthusiasm of some. There’s still, for instance, a substantial following for Her Odiousness, Winnie Mandela.

One more time, iron reality has triumphed over mindless blind optimism. If you want a picture of Africa’s future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face … for ever.”

“My personal support for Zimbabwe includes boycotting all products from South Africa. I realize this issue may be the “flavor of the day” but I have to live my life from the information and priorities presented. Mbecki has repeatedly refused to call a thug a thug and I cannot in good conscience for the people of Zimbabwe continue to support the South African economy. Mbecki is also the retiring President so he has way less to lose than the incoming President. I expect results not behind the scenes maneuvering. Until I personally see results I will not spend my money in South Africa (which I realize is only about $100 per month). Mbecki talks about negotiation but does this work with a violent megalomanic dictator? I am not sure the answer but I am sure of my resolve to influence in whatever way I can. I also wrote to the Prime Minister weeks ago to ensure government knew my thoughts and feelings.”

“The African Union has done what everyone expected -nothing! The people to be pittied are those left in Zimbabwe who will be systematically tortured and killed by Mugabe’s goons in the coming months.

Mugabe and his henchmen will continue to dine on the best of fare, while everyone else battles to eke out a living in an economy that charges 1.5 Billion Zimbabwe dollars for a loaf of bread. If things get too sticky for Mugabe he will commandeer an Air Zimbabwe flight to take him to one of his foreign luxury homes.

It is difficult to help anyone in Zimbabwe for fear of attracting the attention of Mugabe’s monstrous greed. Most people in Zimbabwe were hoping for change, but it won’t happen any time soon.

Mugabe’s antics may suggest that he wants to emulate Shaka, one of Africa’s greatest kings and leaders, but Mugabe is a pathetic little nobody compared to Shaka. Mugabe will never live down his defeat by Tsvangirai, his paranoid evil little mind will be haunted by rejection.”
