The trophy is made out of cast bronze and weighs about twenty-five pounds, or just over eleven kilograms. It stands at a height of thirteen and a half inches and named after college football player and coach, John Heisman. The trophy has been awarded every year starting in 1935. In it’s history, only two players have won the award twice.
